Lutheran Services Carolinas (LSC) is health and human services nonprofit helping seniors in North Carolina and children and families across North and South Carolina. As the largest nonprofit senior care provider in the Tar Heel State, our residential options are scattered across the state, from the Carolina coast to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Four of our communities operate as Continuing Care Retirement Communities – Trinity Elms (Clemmons), Trinity Landing (Wilmington), Trinity Oaks (Salisbury) and Trinity View (Arden/Asheville) – offering vibrant, activity-rich independent living, plus valuable peace of mind that accompanies access to quality health care. We provide additional health-focused services in settings across the state including assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care featuring compassionate, dignified, quality care.

Service Areas
Adult Day Services
Adult day service programs including our Trinity Living Center in Salisbury help end the social isolation that some adults can experience due to changes in health, resources, or mobility. Participants enjoy activities and reestablish friendships, while receiving medical care, nutritious meals, and assistance with personal care when or if needed.
Caregiver support and respite are another benefit. Families know loved ones are safe and secure while they are at work or rest.
Home Services
Trinity at Home offers home care in Rowan County. Based on the Trinity Oaks campus, Trinity at Home provides a person-centered approach to care and support services that allow older adults care and support to stay comfortably in their own homes.
PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly)
PACE is an innovative Medicare program and Medicaid option for older adults age 55 and over who need skilled nursing care but wish to receive that care while living in their own homes. The PACE focus is on prevention, early intervention, and wellness, which results in overall health improvements and cost savings.
Lutheran Services Carolinas now collaborates in four North Carolina PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) initiatives.
Affordable Housing
Lutheran Services Carolinas helps seniors secure safe, affordable housing through collaborative partnerships. Dallas High School Apartments in Dallas and Lutherhaus in Hickory, next to Lenoir Rhyne University, offer affordable and subsidized housing for older adults and people with disabilities.
