“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

Be An LSC Advocate!

Many see advocacy as something done on a large scale by powerful people in huge organizations. In reality, advocacy starts in the churches, homes, and neighborhoods of everyday people who want everyone to have equal access to the resources they need to lead healthy productive lives. Be an LSC advocate!

  • If you tell others about the good work of the LSC ministry, then you are already an LSC advocate.
  • If you have volunteered your time to support the LSC ministry, then you are already an LSC advocate.
  • If you have made a financial contribution to LSC, then you are already an LSC advocate.

Now you can take your status as an LSC advocate a step further by signing up for LSC Advocacy Alerts. These e-mail messages will help you learn more about LSC priorities and initiatives, enabling you to become more involved.

As the recipient of an alert, you might be asked to contact your congressional representatives regarding legislation that affects the people and programs of LSC. If the process of contacting your representatives seems difficult or intimidating, LSC will help you.

Many of those served by LSC cannot speak for themselves.
